We are looking for a full-time, permanent Software Engineer to start at the earliest possible date. You can choose to work entirely remotely, in a hybrid environment, or on-site. Our modern offices are located in Cologne, Hamburg, Bielefeld and Dresden.

We are looking for a full-time, permanent Software Engineer to start at the earliest possible date. You can choose to work entirely remotely, in a hybrid environment, or on-site. Our modern offices are located in Cologne, Hamburg, Bielefeld and Dresden.
Your field of activity
As a VMware software engineer, you will be responsible for automating processes and connecting the various services of your colleagues from other product teams. We connect the various services via REST APIs.
For us, the future is already part of our daily business, which is why you see yourself as a doer and always look beyond the end of your nose to optimise the developed solutions and the associated documentation in your capable hands.
Versatile tasks are part of your everyday life, because in addition to automating processes with Ansible and Terraform, you also write scripts in Python, Bash and several other programming languages.
All in all, you are the person who drives the provision of managed services as standardised and configurable products for our plusserver cloud customers.
In addition, we will give you a lot of creative freedom in an agile working environment as well as the opportunity to familiarise yourself with new technologies. Of course, we will also support you with intensive induction and training opportunities for your professional development.

- very good experience in software development in an agile environment
- solid knowledge of Python, Bash, Powershell or other programming languages
- good experience with REST APIs as well as VMware Cloud Director, VMware Orchestrator and NSX-T
- basic knowledge of Ansible and Terraform,
- willingness to learn new technologies
- a preference for agile, independent and responsible work
- very good knowledge of German or English
